JANUS.NET, A PRESTIGIOUS JOURNAL
The journal JANUS.NET, e-journal of International Relations is for the first time listed in the 2015 international ranking of academic journals of SCImago. JANUS.NET is the only Portuguese journal listed in the category of Law and one of the two Portuguese journals listed in the category of Political Science and International Relations. The journal is in the fourth quartile with a SJR indicator of 0,101. The indicator measures the scientific influence of the journal accounting for the number of citations and prestige of the journal. This is an important achievement and comes as the result of consistent and sustained work started in 2010 with the publication of the first issue. This success reinforces the determination of the team and collaborators of JANUS.NET and OBSERVARE to continue to increase the international scope and influence of the journal.
