Department of politics of PUC (SP); Evaluator of the International Relations degrees (MEC 2002-2006), coordinator of the International Relations degree of PUC (SP) 1999-2009, professor of the Postgraduate Programme in International Relations (Unesp, Unicamp and PUC).

Head of the International Relations Department of PUC (SP) 2013-2016. 

Ad hoc advisor of the Brazilian Journal of International Policy, International Context, Brazilian Journal of Social Sciences and, e-journal of international relations.

Member of the Board of Directors of ABRI - Brazilian Association of International Relations (2007-2009).

Researcher at Ipea (2011-2012). Researcher in charge of the National Institute of Studies on the US (INEU).

Eramus Scholar (University of Porto).

Fapesp-CES Coimbra research scholar (September/October 2013).
He conducts research in the area of International Politics focusing on International Conflicts, International Security, Terrorism, Middle East,
and United States foreign policy.
