Amparo Sereno

Professor at the Faculty of Law of the “Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa” (UAL) where she teaches, among
other subjects, Environment Law. She also works as a researcher in the “Observare” and “Ratio Legis” Research Centers from the same University. PhD in Law from the “Universidade Católica Portuguesa” (UCP) in Lisbon (2010), with a thesis about international water law, she concluded a postdoctoral fellowship on marine protection in 2015.
In addition to her academic experience as a researcher and teacher, she worked as a lawyer in the Office of the Secretary of State of the Environment and in the Holding “Águas de Portugal” (public water supply and sanitation sector).
